I am here to offer you a safe, compassionate space to explore and find your inner strength and well-being.

I understand that reaching out for support is not always easy, and I commend you for taking this first step. You may feel as though you are carrying the weight of past experiences, struggling with self-doubt, or finding it hard to connect with others and the world around you. Therapy can be a powerful way to address these challenges, rediscover your inner strengths, and make meaningful changes.

In my practice, I work with people who are impacted by past trauma, as well as those experiencing issues like anxiety, low self-esteem, and relationship concerns. I also like working with people who may feel highly sensitive or who feel different than those around them. My approach is gentle and understanding.

Many people with heightened sensitivity, or who had difficult experiences in the past and relationships, come to therapy seeking ways to feel more grounded and at ease. In our sessions, I welcome you to bring all parts of yourself to the sessions just as they are, including those parts that may feel unsure, hurt, unworthy or angry.

I like to approach counselling with an emphasis on parts work, where we explore and welcome the various parts within you that may hold different thoughts, feelings, or beliefs about yourself and your world.

Many clients find this approach helpful, as it offers a chance to listen deeply to these parts, understand their origins, and release patterns or beliefs that no longer serve you. Parts work can be especially healing for those who feel like they are constantly navigating inner conflict or who experience heightened sensitivity, self-criticism, or feelings of shame.

We will work together in our sessions to create a foundation of self-acceptance and emotional balance. My approach includes trauma-informed practices, Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR-informed IFS, mindfulness, and relational work. By blending these methods, I provide a supportive, non-judgmental space where you can gain greater clarity about who you are, what you need, and how you want to move forward. For highly sensitive people, I understand how critical it is to work at a gentle, respectful pace and to honour your unique way of experiencing the world. If you are facing challenges like anxiety, difficulties in relationships, or self-esteem concerns, I am here to support you as you navigate these areas.
