Certain techniques can help you to fast track your inner healing. We want to find what works best for you. here are some of the modalities that I incorporate into the sessions as well as tools that I can provide.

CBT

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a common type of talk therapy. CBT helps you become aware of inaccurate or negative thinking so you can view challenging situations more clearly and respond to them in a more effective way.

IFS - Internal Family Systems

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is an approach to psychotherapy that identifies and addresses multiple sub-personalities or families within each person’s mental system. These sub-personalities consist of wounded parts and painful emotions such as anger and shame, and parts that try to control and protect the person from the pain of the wounded parts.

Somatic Therapy

Somatic therapy is a therapy that aims to treat trauma, PTSD and other mental and emotional health issues through the connection of mind and body. This body-centric approach works by helping to release stress, tension, and trauma from the body. Somatic therapy incorporates body-oriented modalities such as movement, breathwork, and meditation.

Narrative Therapy

Narrative therapy is a collaborative and non-pathologizing approach to counselling which centres people as the experts of their own lives. A narrative approach views problems as separate from people and assumes people as having many skills, values,  anbeliefs that will assist them to change their relationship with the problems influencing their lives.

Self Care

Self-care means taking the time to do things that help you live well and improve both your physical health and mental health. When it comes to your mental health, self-care can help you manage stress, lower your risk of illness, and increase your energy. Even small acts of self-care in your daily life can have a big impact.

Mindfulness

Mindfulness means maintaining a moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and surrounding environment. Mindfulness also involves acceptance, meaning that we pay attention to our thoughts and feelings without judging them
